In our study, we analyzed field-scale methane emissions measured by the eddy covariance method at Abisko-Stordalen Mire for three years (2014–2016). This dataset provides measurements of the diffusive flux of methane (CH₄), a strong greenhouse gas, to the atmosphere from three subarctic lakes located on the Stordalen Mire in northern Sweden. We measured turbulence-driven diffusive fluxes of CH₄ with floating chambers during the ice-free seasons of 2010 to 2017, approximately every 1 – 2 weeks, from different locations in the lakes. The Stordalen site is located East of Abisko village. The Stordalen Mire is characterized by discontinuous permafrost with palsas.
